Article 8 (Suspension of Use of Personal Information, etc.)

If a user requests that we cease or delete the use of their personal information (hereinafter referred to as “cessation of use, etc.”) on the grounds that the information is being handled beyond the scope of the stated purpose of use, or that it was obtained through fraudulent means, we will conduct the necessary investigation without delay.
2. Based on the results of the investigation in the preceding paragraph, if we determine that it is necessary to comply with the request, we will cease or delete the use of the personal information in question without delay.
3. If we cease or delete the use of personal information pursuant to the provisions of the preceding paragraph, or if we decide not to cease or delete the use of personal information, we will notify the user without delay.
4. Notwithstanding the preceding two paragraphs, if ceasing or deleting the use of personal information would incur significant costs or is otherwise difficult, and if we can take alternative measures necessary to protect the user’s rights and interests, we will implement such alternative measures.
